We are an Austrian engineering consultancy: punktwissen – two physicists tinkering with control systems, heat pumps, and computer networks.
Our specialties: Support DIY-savvy clients with building their own ice storage heat pump system – as a remote-only project. Programming UVR16x2 controllers for heating / solar systems and providing the client full access to the functional data. We have long-term experience in both the IT sector and with hands-on engineering – so we combine reverse engineering and troubleshooting systems with physical (hydraulic) and software (control) components.

As the CMI has a Modbus interface it can log data from a Modbus running on Raspberry Pi, and this Modbus server can forward data from other loggers as a ‚protocol translator‘ and provide values derived from calculations.
